Covering for the one and only Dj Mahjestik at Harney Sushi tonight, while hes out the country, and continuing the greatness that is “Sex Drugs & Sushi Rolls.” Great place to play all the tracks that I want to hear but cant really spin at the clubs. Had groups of people coming up and asking for track names, and people asking for a dancefloor (o_O)…thats always a good sign!

Being the ultra-stellar Dj that I am, it has come to my attention that it may be time to change the focus and realign highway to success. I dont plan to drop music completely, of course not, that would be silly. Im good at, I can entertain people and I make decent money doing it. Im no rockstar Dj obviously, but Ive gone from my bedroom to radio, to clubs, to traveling gigs and more. But, I think Ive reached a point of diminishing returns.
Djing is not my only job, I have a career and a pretty degree, but it is something I focus all non-work time on. Now I have to sit back and think. What is the Work:Payout ratio of continuing to follow the Dj dream? What are the probable Debt:Earnings ratio? What is the Time input:Forward Movement ratio? Not only so I have to consider these things as far as music is concerned, but I also need to apply the same scrutiny to my next step. Continuing education….in what?
Just a little tid bit for you. When making moves, you need to make educated ones. Take the time to sit back and muster up that ESPN ability to see the future.

Yep, thats been me lately. Well, not in life, but when it comes to updating this blog with some hot musica. Trying to get my higher higher education game on point, so this blag has taken a backseat as of late. Yes, I said higher higher; That is moving forward toward graduate specialized training. Sadly Djing is probably not going to make me the millionaire that I strive to be, so I need a back up plan in case I fail completely at this whole music thing haha!
